Le Deauville: An Exquisite French Dining Experience in Lexington

Excellent dinner at Le Deauville, best French restaurant & bistro. Marc & his team welcome us very well, especially Karrah who did a wonderful job advising us on the menu & drinks. We felt just like in Paris . We had the onion soup, the fish of the day (delicious swordfish) and the bœuf bourguignon. For dessert, the profiteroles were lovely.

Our evening at Le Deauville was nothing short of exceptional, with outstanding service and delectable cuisine that left an indelible mark on our palates. The service at Le Deauville deserves the highest praise. The staff greeted us warmly and guided us to our table with genuine hospitality. Throughout the evening, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to enhance our dining experience. They effortlessly balanced professionalism with a friendly demeanor, creating an inviting atmosphere that made us feel truly valued. My wife's choice of Moules a la Diable, a classic French dish of mussels cooked in a spicy tomato-based sauce, was a revelation. The mussels were plump, tender, and infused with an exquisite blend of flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of heat, adding a nice kick to every bite. It was a dish that showcased the restaurant's commitment to authentic French flavors executed to perfection. As for my entree, the New York Strip with fries and Green peppercorn sauce, it was a carnivorous delight. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Each bite revealed a burst of juiciness and a remarkable depth of flavor. The Green peppercorn sauce, with its rich and creamy texture, elevated the dish to new heights, adding a delightful tang that complemented the meat impeccably. To complete our gastronomic journey, we indulged in a delectable dessert—a delicate Creme Brulee that was perfectly caramelized on top, giving way to a velvety smooth custard beneath. It was a sweet conclusion to an evening of culinary enchantment. Le Deauville's dedication to providing exceptional cuisine, combined with impeccable service, sets it apart as a true gem in Lexington. Whether you're a connoisseur of French cuisine or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, Le Deauville is an absolute must-visit.

Always top notch and superb service. It took me about four visits here to even make it past the happy hour apps and cocktails, but I have never had anything I didn’t love here. For sure the absolute best happy hour in Lexington. The escargot and beef carpaccio are my constant favorites and I always start with a French 75 and then some champagne. Finally made it to the duck entree (that one time) and it was incredible. And the chocolate mousse to finish off a perfect evening is a crowd pleaser, always. Can’t wait to get back to this place over and over again. Happy hour starts at 5. See ya there!

We went here for our anniversary and had a really lovely experience. Our reservation was for 6pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was still fairly empty at that time but by 7pm it was bustling which I loved. It added to the ambiance and made me feel as if I was back in France but I would highly recommend having a reservation, especially if you come later in the evening. The food here is legit and just like eating as if you were in Paris. We splurged because it was our anniversary and paid about 80 per person (before tip) but if you come for just appetizers or order only main dishes it could be more affordable. The appetizers themselves were very filling. I got the Magret de Canard, an item that isn't on the menu but was the plat du jour and it was phenomenal, truly comparable to anything you would eat in France. Service was wonderful. If you come later I imagine the dining experience would take more time but that is part of the appeal! We were in and out in about 2 hours. A wonderful option for a special night out. It seems there is also an option to eat at the bar. I've already recommended this restaurant to friends in the area.

Christophe and the entire staff is sooooo welcoming! I celebrated my birthday there and my 4 year old daughter accompanied our group of 5. We arrived 45 minutes prior to close and 2 of our guests were arriving later. They held the kitchen 30 minutes past closing to make sure we had everything we needed and didn't rush our enjoying the food and fellowship. The entire menu was FLAWLESS!!! It was ALL ABOUT THE MUSSELS TONIGHT! This will be a ritual dining h experience for my daughter and I now that I'm living in the city again. Don't miss the best flavors in LEXINGTON!!! Magnifique!

What a great treat this French restaurant was! Between the two different steaks and mussels, this was a top-tier recommendation for an out-of-towner. I will be recommending it to Lexington visitors. Well done, Le Deauville

This place is amazing. I felt like I was back in Paris. The food is outstanding, and the service very attentive. Camille, who is the owner‘s daughter, is one of the service staff. She is just lovely, and made me feel right at home as a single person dining alone. If you want the fondant au chocolat, the dark chocolate pudding cake, place the order when you place your meal because they bake it fresh which takes 40 minutes.
